A weeks planning for early years with a spooky theme. We used it in the run up to Halloween. Includes lit/num planning, UTW, PD and EAD planning and planning for other areas of the classroom. Also a couple of worksheets.
I use these sheets to send home each week after we have been learning a new sound. The sheets include a matching exercise for each letter then an opportunity to practise tracing over the letters for handwriting practise.
This is an outdoor lesson plan I recently used with Nursery children and was graded as outstanding. It involves retelling the story, counting and building animal homes using natural materials. Also included is some photographs for ideas for the animal homes and some photos of the homes we made.

I used these plans with Year 1 children. They involved an outdoor lesson where the children created their own story boxes and then photographed different scenes to make a powerpoint. Included is a detail observed lesson plan and some of our finished stories.

Activities linked to the story Jack and the Beanstalk which we used in early years. Also we wrote a new story we're going on a giant hunt and retold this story in the outdoor area and using story trays. maths incudes counting beans, adding beans, patten beanstalks, measuring beanstalks, ordering leaves on a beanstalk. literacy includes retelling both stories, describing the giant and making story maps.
